The reason i chose the song i did was because i liked the sound of the song, it has a fast beat which meant that i would be able to create a fast paced music video with fast editing and camera movements.
another reason i picked it was because it was a song that i was familiar with and i also found the official music video to be quite lacking and i decided that i could do better. in my video i would like the
narrative to very loose, this would be to make sure not to detract from the meanings of the song.
A few things that i thought could have been done better would be their use of too much live footage, this slows down the pace of the video and just interrupts the flow. furthermore i feel that the speed of the editing is just too slow overall. one thing that i do like about the video are some of the camera movements that they use, their use of very jerky movement and handheld camera shots gives the video a very homemade personality that fits with the song and the band.
